What computer do I need?
The Dolphin System is currently available for PC only.
The online version
Requirements:
- Internet Explorer Version 4.0 or later. (not Netscape)
- Internet Connection - at least 56K
Recommendations:
- ISDN connection or faster.
- 128MB RAM
Installing on your own network (UK schools only)
Requirements:
- Internet Explorer Version 4.0 or later. (not Netscape)
- Windows 98 or later
- Microsoft Personal Web Server preinstalled (Windows 98 systems) or Microsoft Internet Information Server (Windows 2000/XP or later)
Recommendations:
- 128MB RAM
- Networked system - Dolphin is best installed on a central server. Pupils can then access the materials from any workstation and log their progress in the central database.
